Ever wanted to attend seminars and lectures about employment laws and discriminatory practices in the workplace, but unfortunately, you don't have the time to do so? Here's your chance to learn the basics of the federal laws enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in just 1 week, in the comfort of your own home!

This course will have 3 parts. First part will define workplace discrimination, the factors involved, and the people discriminated against. (Day 1) Second part will be a discussion of five federal employment laws that prohibit discrimination in the workplace. (Days 2-6) Last part will advise on how to handle discrimination if the laws you have learned are violated. (Day 7)

Don't be intimidated. It is an exaggeration to say that you'll be very well-versed about federal employment laws after this course, but it is fair to say that at the end of the course, you'll have a good grasp of their basic concepts.

This course has no requirements, other than the desire to be aware of your rights as an employee. For 1 week, you will receive an email daily, and you can review them at your own pace. Take advantage of online learning!

Day 1- Overview of Employment Discrimination.
Day 2- Federal Employment Law: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Day 3- Federal Employment Law: The Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA)
Day 4- Federal Employment Law: The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA)
Day 5- Federal Employment Law: The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (Title I)
Day 6- Federal Employment Law: Civil Rights Act of 1991
Day 7- Filing A Discrimination Charge
